and Whatcom. In west central Washington, King and Snohomish.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- High snow levels, heavy rainfall, and snowmelt runoff will
lead to continued rises on area rivers with additional
flooding possible at times this week.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Snohomish River near Monroe.

* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, the Snohomish River will cause minor
flooding of low pasture lands and several roads near the river.  A
stage of 15 feet at this location corresponds to Phase 2 in the
Snohomish County Flood Warning System.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:15 AM PDT Thursday the stage was 15.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 2:15 AM PDT Thursday was 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is cresting around 15.0 feet early this
morning. The river will begin receding later this morning and
continue to recede overnight.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Snohomish River at Snohomish.

* WHEN...Until late Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, the Snohomish River will cause minor
flooding of lowlands not protected by levees and on the Old
Snohomish-Monroe highway.  A stage of 25 feet on the Snohomish
River corresponds to a Phase 2 in the Snohomish County flood
program.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:00 AM PDT Thursday the stage was 26.3 feet.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 1:00 AM PDT Thursday was 26.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river will crest between 26.5 and 26.9 feet
this morning. The river will begin receding this afternoon
and could briefly fall below flood stage Friday afternoon and
evening before rising back above flood stage Friday night.
The river is forecast to crest again near 26.2 feet Saturday
afternoon.
