possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Washington, including the
following areas, Lower Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades
Crest and Upper Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades CPeople,
structures, and roads located below steep slopes, in canyons, and
near the mouths of canyons may be at serious risk from rapidly
moving landslides. rest.

* WHEN...Through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Small creeks and streams flowing out of the Oregon
cascades may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be
flooded. Landslides and debris flows are possible during this
flood event.

river levels.

THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and freezing rain. Additional snow accumulations
between 4 and 10 inches mostly through Thursday morning. Freezing
rain up to a tenth of an inch Thursday.

* WHERE...Upper Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades Crest.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on winter weather driving conditions. Periods of
moderate to heavy snowfall, strong winds, and blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility along I-90 and US 12. Freezing
rain could bring
slippery conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Confidence in more than a tenth of an inch
freezing rain Thursday is low (less than 20 percent chance).

following county, Kittitas.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water
crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 100 PM PST, Flooding is imminent or occurring in the
warned area.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
mainly rural areas of Northwestern Kittitas County along the
Yakima River at Easton.

and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many
areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1254 AM PST, the public reported heavy rain in the warned
area due to Flooding along the Yakima River and small
streams. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Little Creek, Cle Elum River, Yakima River and Big Creek.
Flood waters are expected to recede early this week, however
precipitation chances are in the forecast for the rest of the
week.

mainly rural areas of Northwestern Kittitas County
