...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 10 AM PST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt. * WHERE...Northern Inland Waters Including The San Juan Islands. * WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 10 AM PST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will be strongest along the southern portions of the San Juan Islands and into Bellingham Bay. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions. &&

Inundation of around 2 feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low- lying coastal areas. * WHERE...San Juan County, Lowlands of Western Whatcom County and Lowlands of Western Skagit and Northwestern Snohomish Counties zones. * WHEN...From 4 AM to 10 AM PST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding due to tidal overflow is expected around high tide. This may lead to flooding of parking lots, parks, and roads, with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Coastal flooding will occur in the hours around high tide, at around 800 AM Saturday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Inundation above ground level refers to the height above the Mean Higher High Water (MHHW) level. &&
