Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches for elevations below 1000 feet and between 6 to 12 inches for elevations above 1000 feet. * WHERE...Bennington and Western Windham Counties. * WHEN...From 4 AM early this morning to 1 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact this morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates between 0.5 to 1 inch per hour likely this morning through the early afternoon. Additional upslope snow likely develops overnight and continues into Thursday night. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
