Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches for elevations below 1000 feet and between 6 to 12 inches for elevations above 1000 ft. * WHERE...Bennington and Western Windham Counties. * WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional snowfall amounts of up to 3 to 6 inches are expected through this evening and early tonight. Snowfall rates could exceed 1 inch per hour this afternoon and evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
