...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM
EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts between 45 and 55 mph
expected.

* WHERE...All of northern New York and most of Vermont outside of
Orange and eastern Windsor counties.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down with isolated to scattered power outages
possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will be between 9 AM and
1 PM, especially in the northern Champlain Valley and northern
slopes of the Adirondacks, with another round of strong winds in
northern New York between 3 PM and 8 PM. Fully leafed out trees
will result in more tree damage than with similar wind speeds
during the colder months of the year.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
