...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TUESDAY TO 7 AM EST WEDNESDAY FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 1000 FEET... * WHAT...Wintry mix including both snow and patchy freezing drizzle. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches with up to 7 to 8 inches along the spine of the southern Greens. A light glaze of ice is also expected from freezing drizzle. * WHERE...Bennington and Western Windham Counties. * WHEN...From 7 AM Tuesday to 7 AM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow develops mid to late morning today and continues through this afternoon before tapering to snow showers and mixing with patchy freezing drizzle this evening. Additional snow showers and snow accumulations are likely after Midnight (especially along the west facing slopes of the Greens) along with strong, gusty northwest winds.
