...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...Freezing rain expected. Ice accumulations between one tenth and four tenths of an inch, with locally higher amounts possible. * WHERE...Portions of northern New York and Vermont. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 4 PM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Isolated power outages and tree damage will be possible due to the ice. Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds starting Monday afternoon will further increase the risk of power outages where ice has built up on power lines and tree limbs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest freezing rain will be Sunday night and early Monday morning. Sharply colder conditions, scattered snow showers, and gusty winds will occur later Monday and Monday night. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling.
