...Patchy Freezing Rain Possible In Sheltered Areas Of Eastern Vermont... Precautionary/Preparedness Actions... Rain is moving into Vermont and northern New York. Several stations east of the Green Mountains from Lamoille and Caledonia Counties southwards have temperatures around 30-34 degrees. So light freezing rain is possible. Slick roads and elevated surfaces may be result from a light glaze of ice. Temperatures are expected to warm above freezing over the next couple hours.

Tree limbs could be blown down and isolated power outages could occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Two period of gusty winds are expected, the first through 10 AM today, followed by another period of strong winds between 8 PM Monday and 8 AM Tuesday.
