...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central New York, including the following areas, Northern Saratoga, Southeast Warren and Southern Washington and southern Vermont, including the following areas, Bennington, Eastern Windham and Western Windham. * WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A low pressure system will bring rainfall totals of 1.5 to 3 inches to the region through this morning. This rainfall will fall on already saturated soils from heavy rainfall from the past weekend into early this week.
