LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southeast winds 5 to 15
kt with gusts up to 25 kt expected. For the Gale Watch, west
winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt possible.

* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay north of Sandy Point MD, Tidal Potomac
from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD, Patapsco River including
Baltimore Harbor, Chester River to Queenstown MD, and Patuxent
River to Broomes Island MD.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 1 AM to 10 AM EST
Wednesday. For the Gale Watch, from Wednesday morning through
late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.
