In northern Virginia, Central and Southeast Prince William/Manassas/Manassas Park, Culpeper, Northern Fauquier, Northwest Prince William, Southern Fauquier and Stafford. * WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms will develop and move across the area this afternoon to evening. Thunderstorms will be capable of producing very heavy rainfall, with amounts of 1 to 2 inches in 30 minutes possible. Widespread totals around 1 inch are forecast, with up to 2 to 3 inches of rain under the strongest storms.
