* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 11 feet expected in the
surf zone.

* WHERE...Virginia Beach.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Tuesday to 6 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Large breaking waves of 7 to 11 feet
will result in dangerous surf conditions. Do not enter or
approach the water due to the risk of being swept away.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 3 to 6 ft. For the Gale Watch,
northeast winds 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and waves 4
to 7 ft possible.

* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek
VA and Chesapeake Bay from Little Creek VA to Cape Henry VA
including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 2 AM EDT Wednesday.
For the Gale Watch, from late Tuesday night through Wednesday
afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
