* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, and northwest Virginia,
including the following counties, in central Virginia, Orange and
Spotsylvania. In northern Virginia, Culpeper, Fauquier and
Stafford. In northwest Virginia, Madison.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1256 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in
the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly. Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
