...POTENTIAL WINTER COMMUTING HAZARD FOR THE GREATER FREDERICKSBURG AREA AND INTO CHARLES COUNTY IN MARYLAND MONDAY MORNING... There is a potential for hazardous commuting conditions for the Monday morning commute. Snow is POSSIBLE (a 30 to 40 percent chance) Monday morning across Southern Fauquier, Southeast Prince William, King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Charles Counties. The potential snow may begin during the 7 to 9 AM time frame, which could cause a coating of accumulation on area roads. If this threat does materialize during the Monday morning rush- hour, roads could quickly turn slippery. This could lead to hazardous traveling conditions, accidents, and delays. If commuting Monday morning, be aware of the POSSIBILITY of travel disruptions. Plan ahead by allowing for extra travel time, and consider using public transportation and telework options.
