With light snow coming to an end this evening, any lingering moisture on untreated surfaces such as roads, bridges, overpasses, sidewalks, etc. are likely to freeze as temperatures fall below freezing over the next couple hours. This could lead to hazardous travel conditions, so use caution if on the roads.

For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, northern, and northwest Virginia. * WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 4 AM Saturday to 10 AM EST Sunday. For the Wind Advisory, from 4 AM to 7 PM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
