rainfall on Monday. Fog should dissipate shortly after sunrise.
Expect rapidly changing visibilities in locally dense fog this

...FLOOD WATCH HAS EXPIRED...

The Flood Watch has expired for portions of central and south
central Virginia, including the following areas, in central
Virginia, Amherst, Appomattox, Buckingham and Campbell. In south
central Virginia, Bedford, Charlotte, Halifax and Pittsylvania.

The flooding threat has ended for now. Therefore, the Flood Watch
has expired.  However, a new flood watch has been issued for this
afternoon. Slow moving storms are expected to re-develop during the
peak heating part of the day.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Virginia, including
the following counties, in central Virginia, Amherst, Appomattox,
Buckingham and Campbell. In south central Virginia, Bedford,
Charlotte, Halifax and Pittsylvania.

* WHEN...From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Slow moving thunderstorms are expected to re-develop during
the peak heating part of the day. Rainfall rates of 2 to 4
inches in an hour are possible, and this may lead to flash
flooding if a storm lingers over an area for even a short
amount of time.
