...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Winds will become southerly and increase to around 15
knots with gusts up to 25 knots this morning through early
afternoon. A sharp wind shift to the west is expected by late
afternoon, with winds increasing to 15 to 25 knots and gusts up
to 30 knots expected through this evening. Occasional gusts to
around 35 knots are possible overnight. Northwest gusts of 20
to 30 knots are then expected through Thursday.

* WHERE...Tidal Potomac River from Indian Head MD to Smith Point
VA, Chesapeake Bay from North Beach MD to Smith Point VA,
Choptank River to Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River,
Patuxent River to Broomes Island MD, and Tangier Sound and the
inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth Island.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
