...Strong Northerly Winds Behind a Cold Front...

Strong, gusty northerly winds of 45-55 mph, with local gusts in
excess of 60 mph, will continue across much of Utah County,
especially along and north of a line from Provo to Eagle Mountain.
The strongest gusts will occur near the Traverse Mountains
including Saratoga Springs, Point of the Mountain, and Lehi. Winds
will gradually diminish after 6 PM MDT Thursday evening. Reduce
travel speeds, especially on east-west oriented routes.

Basin, and Castle Country and mid to upper teens in the Sanpete
and Sevier Valleys, west central and southwest Utah.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, southern, and southwest
Utah.

* WHEN...For the first Freeze Warning, from 8 PM this evening to
noon MDT Friday. For the second Freeze Warning, from 8 PM Friday
to noon MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
