Favored locations will be the northern half of each county. * WHERE...Brooks, Inland Kenedy, Jim Hogg, and Zapata Counties. * WHEN...From 4 AM to 9 AM CST Sunday. Most likely time for the coldest temperature is between 6 and 8 AM CST. * IMPACTS...Take steps now to finish protecting cold sensitive plants and crops. Frost and freeze conditions could damage crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of low temperatures and dry air will be conducive to evaporation of any moisture from sensitive plant membranes.
