* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Angelina River near Lufkin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 168.0 feet, Expect flooding to continue for at least
a couple of weeks with the gravel access roadway nearly inundated
along its entire length.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 163.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 158.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM CDT Monday was 163.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 164.7
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then rise to 166.6
feet Saturday morning. Additional rises are possible
thereafter.

* WHERE...Mud Creek near Jacksonville.

* WHEN...From this morning to Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding of timber resources
along with some farmland.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 9.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 AM CDT Monday was 9.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late this
evening to 8.7 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then
rise to flood stage early Wednesday afternoon. It will fall
for the remainder of the period.

floodplain will continue for the next several days. As the river
falls slowly, flooding will gradually decrease.
