...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CDT SATURDAY... * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following county, Fayette. * WHEN...Until 200 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1026 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... La Grange, Fayetteville, Round Top, Carmine, Rutersville, Walhalla, Warrenton, Waldeck, Nechanitz, Rek Hill, Mullins Prairie, Rabbs Prairie, Ellinger, Willow Springs, Winedale, Holman and Ledbetter. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
