...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Brazos River at Richmond.

* WHEN...Until Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins as water
escapes the main channel below the gauge. Livestock operations
near Thompsons are affected and precautions should be taken to
protect cattle including potential relocation in low lying areas.
Baudet Road southeast of Richmond and Redbird Lane in Fulshear are
threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 45.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 45.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 45.5
feet late this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 45.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
45.4 feet on 05/14/1968.

has close to one foot of water over the road.
