* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
Northern Coke County in west central Texas...
Southern Jones County in west central Texas...
Nolan County in west central Texas...
Shackelford County in west central Texas...
Taylor County in west central Texas...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 909 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms...from Robert Lee to Abilene to Lueders...Albany...
Ft Griffin and Throckmorton. Movement was east at 10 mph. This
will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches
of rain are likely.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Abilene, Albany, Robert Lee, Blackwell, Wylie, Nolan, Merkel, Tye,
Bronte, Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Lueders, Trent, Lawn, Moran, View,
Caps, Dyess Afb, Coronados Camp and Potosi.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Texas Avenue at Arnold Boulevard, Intersections along Buttonwillow
Parkway, Curry Lane from Clack Street to Catclaw Drive,
Intersections along Sammons Street, Butternut Underpass, FM 89
crossing Scott Hollow, US 84 frontage Road crossing Little Elm Creek.

Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 261 and 292.

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northern Nolan County in west central Texas...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 803 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across northern Nolan county, including Sweetwater.
Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Sweetwater, Roscoe, Champion, Wastella, Camp Boothe Oaks, Lake
Sweetwater and Us-84 Near The Nolan-Fisher County Line.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN COKE...SOUTHEASTERN NOLAN...SOUTHWESTERN TAYLOR AND
NORTHWESTERN RUNNELS COUNTIES...

At 924 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Blackwell,
moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
Blackwell around 930 PM CDT.
Fort Chadbourne around 940 PM CDT.
Hylton around 945 PM CDT.
Wingate and Happy Valley around 955 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Oak
Creek Reservoir, Wilmeth and Shep.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of west central Texas, including the following areas,
Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Mason,
McCulloch, Nolan, San Saba, Shackelford, Taylor and Throckmorton.

* Through Tuesday morning.

* Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches on top of already
saturated soil will lead may lead to flash flooding.

* Flooding may occur in uran and poor drainage areas. Heavy rainfall
may also cause flooding of creeks, streams and rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
