...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT THURSDAY... * WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 kt with frequent gusts up to 45 kt and isolated gusts to nearly 50 kt. Seas 6 to 11 ft. * WHERE...Portions of Gulf of America. * WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A cold front will move offshore this evening. Strong winds and building seas will occur in the front's wake, with gale conditions likely tonight through Wednesday night. Winds may decrease Wednesday morning, but are expected to increase again by Wednesday afternoon. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
