* AFFECTED AREA...La Salle, McMullen, Live Oak, Bee, Goliad,
Victoria, Webb, Duval, Jim Wells, Inland Kleberg, Inland
Nueces, Inland San Patricio, Coastal Aransas, Inland Refugio,
Inland Calhoun, Coastal Kleberg, Coastal Nueces, Coastal San
Patricio, Aransas Islands, Coastal Refugio, Coastal Calhoun,
Kleberg Islands, Nueces Islands and Calhoun Islands.

* TIMING...10 AM TO 7 PM WEDNESDAY

* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM CDT
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt, rough
bay waters and seas 7 to 11 ft expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Gulf of America.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A cold front will push offshore by Tuesday
evening bringing strong gusty winds and building seas in its
wake. A few stronger thunderstorms are possible along and just
ahead of the front as well. A small craft advisory will be
needed after the gales subside, keep up with the latest
forecasts for details on conditions as the slowly improve late
Wednesday night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
