...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY MONDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River at Riverside.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 136.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins in the
vicinity of the gage. The lowest homes in the Green Rich Shores
Subdivision are flooded and Thomas Lake Road is inundated and
impassable. Low roads in the Deep River Plantation Subdivision are
inundated. The lowest roads into properties off FM 980 northwest
of Riverside are inundated and the lowest buildings are threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 135.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 133.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:30 AM CDT Thursday was 136.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Sunday afternoon and continue falling to 132.0 feet
Tuesday morning.
- Flood stage is 133.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
135.7 feet on 06/29/2004.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Alto.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Boat ramps and picnic areas near the river
will begin to flood. Ranchers should move cattle and equipment
near the river to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 AM CDT Thursday was 16.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this afternoon and continue falling to 12.8 feet Tuesday
morning.
