...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northeastern Medina,
eastern Bandera, Williamson, southeastern Kerr, Hays, Travis, Blanco,
southeastern Gillespie, Kendall, southeastern Burnet, Bexar and Comal
Counties through 415 AM CDT...

At 329 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Mico to near Georgetown Dam. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, Austin, Round Rock, New Braunfels, Cedar Park,
Georgetown, San Marcos, Pflugerville, Schertz, Kyle, Converse,
Universal City, Taylor, Live Oak, Buda, Boerne, Selma, Elgin, Marble
Falls, and Dripping Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Blanco, Burnet, Gillespie and Llano.

* WHEN...Until 545 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 237 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fredericksburg, Burnet, Marble Falls, Kingsland, Llano, Round
Mountain, Buchanan Dam, Gainesville, Granite Shoals,
Horseshoe Bay, Meadowlakes, Buchanan Lake Village, Highland
Haven, Castell, Oxford, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area,
Blowout, Eckert, Willow City and Prairie Mountain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
