...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Texas, including the
following counties, in central Texas, Bosque, Hamilton, Hill and
McLennan. In north central Texas, Erath, Johnson and Somervell.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying
and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in
the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Stephenville, Hillsboro, Clifton, West, Glen Rose, Whitney,
Itasca, Meridian, Hubbard, Hico, Laguna Park, Blum, Iredell,
Covington, Bynum, Carl's Corner, Lake Whitney, Lake Whitney
State Park, Meridian State Park and Cleburne State Park.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
