The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a Fire Weather Watch for strong winds and critically low relative humidity values, which is in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...All South Central Texas. * TIMING...From Sunday morning through Sunday evening. * WINDS...North 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 to 20 percent. * TEMPERATURES...65 to 74. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur.
