...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...North Central Brazoria County in southeastern Texas... Western Galveston County in southeastern Texas... Harris County in southeastern Texas... * WHEN...Until 430 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 338 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pasadena, Pearland, Friendswood, Deer Park, Alvin, South Houston, Galena Park, Jacinto City, Manvel, Greater Hobby Area, South Belt / Ellington, Clear Lake, Cloverleaf, Channelview, Brookside Village, Golfcrest / Bellfort / Reveille, Edgebrook Area and Hobby Airport. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
