...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
counties, Austin, Harris, Montgomery and Waller.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 651 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This is causing
urban and small stream flooding. Between 3 and 5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Tomball, Sealy, Brookshire, Pinehurst, Hockley, San Felipe,
Stagecoach, Pattison, Cypress and Monaville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
counties, Harris and Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 830 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 527 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Humble, Jersey Village, Greater Greenspoint, Aldine, northern
Northside / Northline, Spring, Spring Branch North, Spring
Branch West, Addicks Park Ten, Kingwood, Willowbrook, Greater
Inwood, Hidden Valley, Acres Home, Fairbanks / Northwest
Crossing, Carverdale, Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, Central
Northwest, Westbranch and Bush Intercontinental Airport.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
areas, Inland Harris, Montgomery and Waller.

* WHEN...Through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Slow moving, training showers and thunderstorms are expected
to develop somewhere within the watch area this afternoon and
continue into this evening or overnight tonight. Generally
expecting totals of 1 to 3 inches, but isolated higher
amounts of 3 to 6 inches will be possible if strong
thunderstorms move over the same area. Rainfall rates of 2-4"
per hour will be possible within the strongest storms.
