Southeastern Walker County in southeastern Texas... * Until 1000 AM CDT. * At 644 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 0.75 to 1.5 inches per hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Livingston, Onalaska, Corrigan, Groveton, New Waverly, Coldspring, Point Blank, Goodrich, Seven Oaks, West Livingston, Lake Livingston State Park, Alabama-Coushatta Reservation, Leggett, Moscow, Evergreen and Segno. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A new round of heavy rainfall is moving into the area from the northwest very early this morning, and will continue to make its way across Southeast Texas today.
