...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be possible. * WHERE...Bosque, Eastland, Ellis, Erath, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Hood, Johnson, Limestone, McLennan, Navarro, Somervell, Anderson, Henderson, Leon, and Robertson Counties. * WHEN...Through Friday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with additional heavy rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Recent rainfall has resulted in near saturated soils that are resistant to runoff and proper drainage. Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 5 inches may result in flooding. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
