* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Rio Grande at Laredo.

* WHEN...From late tonight to late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, or 6.1 meters moderate lowland flooding
occurs. Water is several feet deep over most of the mall and
customs parking lots. The lowest residences are threatened and
roads and low bridges become very dangerous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 5.1 feet (1.6 meters).
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet (2.1 meters).
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 20.9 feet (6.4 meters)
Sunday evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday
morning.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet (2.4 meters).

- At 8:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 9.6 feet (2.9 meters).
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet (4.9 meters).
