At 855 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lagarto, or 10 miles west of Mathis, moving east at 35 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR NORTHERN JIM WELLS AND SOUTHEASTERN LIVE OAK. HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. Locations impacted include... At 825 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Rancho De La Parita, or 20 miles north of San Diego, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include...
