...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS EVENING FOR STRONG NORTH WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY ACROSS ALL OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS... * AFFECTED AREA...All counties of South Central Texas. * TIMING...Until 9 PM CST this evening. * WINDS...North 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 to 20 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Up to 73. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly.
