Hazy conditions along with patchy dense fog are effecting the
Upper Texas coastal waters and bays this evening. Areas of reduced
visibility are likely to continue overnight. Visibility is
expected to generally drop into the 2 to 4 NM range. However,
beach cameras suggest that there are areas where visibility is
lower. We will monitor the situation closely. A Marine Dense Fog
Advisory could be issued if we think there is an increasing risk
of widespread visibility under 1 NM.
