* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Lowland flooding will continue for several
days. Oil field operations will be curtailed and timber resources
will suffer severe flooding. Fisherman should use caution as
currents are swift.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 24.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 27.2 feet
Tuesday morning.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
27.2 feet on 01/22/1991.

ending at 8:15 PM CDT Friday was 32.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Wednesday morning and continue falling to 25.1 feet
Wednesday evening.
