possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and south central
Texas, including the following counties, in north central Texas,
Freestone and Kaufman. In northeast Texas, Anderson, Henderson,
Leon and Van Zandt. In south central Texas, Robertson.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rainfall totals between 0.5 and 1 inch.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Boat ramps and picnic areas near the river
will begin to flood. Ranchers should move cattle and equipment
near the river to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 17.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 17.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.9
feet tomorrow evening.

the river is expected. Minor flooding of Coffield Prison farm and
ranch lands near the river is to be expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 33.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Thursday morning and continue rising to a crest of 35.5
feet Friday evening.
