The next round of storms is expected to push through Southeast Texas later this afternoon and into the evening hours. This timing based on the latest model guidance is a bit quicker than previously anticipated, so the Flood Watch will likely be cancelled earlier than the current scheduled expiration time. Still anticipating widespread 2-4" amounts with isolated totals up to 4-6" between this morning's storms and the storms later today. There is potential for an axis of heavy rain later today with totals as high as 2-3".
