Northern Milam County in central Texas... * Until 1230 AM CDT. * At 944 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Notably, western Falls County west of US-77 between Lott and Rosebud where the expected rainfall rate is 2 to 4 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Temple, Belton, Cameron, Little River-Academy, Rosebud, Rogers, Lott, Buckholts, Sparks, Wilson, Yarrelton, Crossroads, Silver City, Jones Prairie, Leedale, Edgeworth, Cyclone, Terrys Chapel, Red Ranger and Barclay. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 934 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. In northeast Texas, Anderson and Leon. In south central Texas, Milam and Robertson. * WHEN...Through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow moving thunderstorms may result in widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches in a short period of time.
