Additional snow accumulations less than one inch. * WHERE...All of west central Texas. * WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening. * IMPACTS...With temperatures well-below freezing, roads and especially bridges and overpasses will continue to be slick and hazardous. Extreme Cold Warning

...EXTREME COLD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST MONDAY... * WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 9 below. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas. * WHEN...Until noon CST Monday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Wear protective clothing such as a hat, face mask, and heavy gloves or mittens if you have plans to be outdoors. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing. &&
