Marine Weather Statement
Issued: 4:41 PM Dec. 28, 2025 – National Weather Service
Warmer sea surface temperatures have generally made conditions
less favorable for fog over the bay and Gulf waters. However, high
moisture levels ahead of an approaching cold front may result in a
favorable period for fog this evening before the front pushes
through. Confidence in the fog forecast is low. But if dense fog
occurs, it will most likely be sometime between sunset and when
the front pushes offshore around midnight.
