* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
counties, Brazoria, Chambers, Galveston, Harris, Liberty and
Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 737 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 5 inches of rain have fallen so far this
morning. Additional rain is ongoing or expected in the
advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Pasadena, Pearland, League City, Baytown, Texas City,
Friendswood, La Porte, Deer Park, Alvin, Dickinson, South
Houston, Humble, La Marque, Santa Fe, Seabrook, Galena Park,
Jacinto City, Webster, Dayton and Hitchcock.

Eagle Point, moving northeast at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

suddenly higher waves.

COUNTIES THROUGH 800 AM CDT...

At 710 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
southwestern League City, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southeastern Pasadena, southeastern Pearland, League City, Texas
City, Friendswood, La Porte, Deer Park, Alvin, Dickinson, La Marque,
Santa Fe, Seabrook, Webster, Manvel, Kemah, Clear Lake, South Belt /
