* At 638 AM CST, Heavy rain fell across the warned area earlier this
morning and light rain continues. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Garland, Irving, Grand
Prairie, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Richardson, Lewisville,
Allen, Flower Mound, Rowlett, Euless, Bedford, Grapevine, Haltom

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following
counties, Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Hill, Hood, Hunt,
Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant
and Wise.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches, with isolated higher
amounts up to 4 inches.
