Marine Weather Statement
Issued: 4:50 AM Mar. 7, 2026 – National Weather Service
Visibilities continue to decrease as patchy sea fog develops in the southern portion of Galveston Bay and the adjacent Gulf waters. Isolated dense spots will be possible within the broader area of less dense fog. Mariners operating through the night and into the early morning hours should be prepared to deal with abrupt changes in visibility, up to and including brief periods of dense fog. Should conditions degrade further, a dense fog advisory may become necessary.
