...SLICK AND ICY SPOTS ON ROADS TONIGHT...

Expect roads to re-freeze tonight into Tuesday morning due to very
cold temperatures across much of the area, resulting in hazardous
driving conditions especially on bridges, overpasses, and side
roads. Motorists should be prepared to slow down when encountering
slick and icy spots on roads.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM
CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as zero in the Big Country,
and in the single digits elsewhere across West Central Texas.

* WHERE...All of West central Texas.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia and
frostbite if precautions are not taken. The extended period of
freezing temperatures could also cause ruptured water pipes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
