...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM CDT THIS MORNING FOR CENTRAL DAVIDSON, NORTHWESTERN SMITH, SOUTHERN SUMNER, TROUSDALE AND NORTHERN WILSON COUNTIES... At 804 AM CDT, Doppler radar and rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Rainfall is now tapering off or will soon end. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Gallatin, Lebanon, Nashville, Hartsville, Madison, Hendersonville, Mount Juliet, Goodlettsville, Belle Meade, Lakewood, Belinda City, Hermitage, Old Hickory, Berry Hill, Green Hill, Bledsoe Creek State Park, Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area, Whites Creek and Dixon Springs.
