snow. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. For
the Winter Storm Watch, heavy mixed precipitation and patchy
blowing snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 8 and 11
inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch possible.
Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...A portion of north central South Dakota.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/
Thursday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Thursday night
through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
combination of falling snow and winds may lead to periods of
blowing snow that may briefly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning
commutes.
