The Severe Thunderstorm Warning that was previously in effect has
been reissued for Bennett County and is in effect until 815 PM MDT.
Please refer to that bulletin for the latest severe weather
information.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT
Monday for a portion of southwest South Dakota.

The National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southwestern Todd County in south central South Dakota...
Eastern Bennett County in southwestern South Dakota...

* Until 815 PM MDT /915 PM CDT/.

* At 710 PM MDT /810 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located over
Lacreek Wildlife Refuge, or 8 miles southeast of Martin, moving
southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
Martin, Spring Creek, Tuthill, Vetal, Harrington, Sunrise Housing,
Lacreek Wildlife Refuge, southwestern Rosebud Reservation and
southeastern Pine Ridge Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
